剧情：
翔东大学的事务局长小园洋平在家中被刺杀。富士见署刑警星野尚人赶到现场后，在起居室看到了杀人现场的情形，从与妻子分开生活的小园身上，发现了另一个女人的影子。翔东大学国际社会学部的讲师谷村夏帆，她想尽一切办法出人名地，从半年前开始和拥有人事权的小园有不正当关系。小园被杀害，夏帆作为杀人犯被捕。另一方面，收到不伦信息的匿名邮件的记者丸山奏太，发现有人企图操纵事件的印象，开始独自调查。在这种情况下，星野对警方的调查方针感到疑惑，认为夏帆就是凶手，不久他发现夏帆可能被人陷害了。刑警、嫌疑人、记者。3人各自也有私人的问题，但是因为利害关系的一致结成了合作关系。
