剧情：
少年顾汝章幼承庭训，练得一手好拳脚，家传绝招“铁沙掌”是以好打抱不平。一次，汝章错手将豪门督军之子段三少杀死，顾父闻悉，故意将汝章逐出家门，亡命天涯，才能得以保存性命。
途中遇盗，汝章再次错手杀死劫匪沈老黑，并受其托回乡探望其妻女，汝章得知沈家贫困，故假称欠沈老黑债务并愿留乡中工作抵债。正巧当地举行七省拳王竞赛，需搭建擂台，汝章前往工作。工作时，他认识一当地好手韦七，韦七知其暗藏武功，技非等闲。
当地恶霸钱世仁为夺取拳王宝座，杀死韦七及阿花父女，汝章忍无可忍终替韦七出赛，夺得七省拳王宝座。钱世仁与其妹怀恨在心，截杀汝章，汝章被迫使出铁沙掌，将钱氏兄妹杀死，继续流浪天涯。
